Heyday™
Overview
These high-fidelity visuals replaced physical product shoots, helping the team achieve faster turnaround times and saving weeks of work and thousands of dollars while maintaining consistency across packaging assets. The project showcased how 3D visualization can support scalable design workflows and improve brand efficiency.
My Contribution
I was the lead 3D artist on this case study- I created high-quality cable visuals for packaging by efficiently modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering the products in 3ds Max and V-Ray- despite the absence of physical samples; matching the aesthetic of previous packaging imagery.

The Challenge?
Due to last minute design changes- final physical products would not make it in time for their packaging photography shoot. Could it be done in 3D? We wanted to find a solution to avoid any potential delays- and ended up with a project that saves time, money, and can be built to scale.
The Results
Not only was 3D packaging photography feasible- it saved weeks worth of time which would normally be spent waiting for physical product samples, and saved thousands of dollars versus traditional packaging photography. Things were done efficiently, in less time, for less money- with great results.

Special thanks to Ross Cantrell for assisting in final polish before images were sent to the packaging team for finalization.
